A former member of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Explorer Program is facing numerous charges in connection with a relationship he had with a teenage lady.
Joshua Honea, 21, is accuseded of a number of counts of sex assault versus a child, kidnapping of a small and lewdness with a kid.
According to Honea’s arrest report, investigators in March learned of an ongoing sexual relationship Honea had actually had with a 16-year-old student at Bonanza High School.
Honea, who at one time volunteered at City’s Enterprise Location Command, was talked to by investigators and rejected having a sexual relationship with the woman.
The victim’s mother informed detectives that her child met Honea when she was in the sixth grade. She explained Honea as controlling but said she was uninformed of any charming participation between the 2. Honea had actually functioned as a counselor at the girl’s intermediate school.
