Authorities recognize motorcyclist killed in crash west of Vegas Strip

town. City reacted to a mishap call on Dean Martin Drive, simply south of Tropicana Opportunity, at about 10:30 a.m. Inning accordance with preliminary reports, officers stated a motorcycle crashed into a pole on Dean Martin just south of Tropicana.

The motorcyclist was carried to the University Medical Center after the crash in important condition, however later died from his injuries sustained.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office determined the rider as 24-year-old Juan Meldez Houseworth Keller, of Las Vegas.

Authorities had all travel lanes on Dean Martin Drive closed for the fatal examination at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the crash and Keller’s official cause of death stays pending inning accordance with the Coroner’s workplace.

A 20-year-old motorcyclist was identified Monday after he was killed in a crash in the south Las Vegas Valley over the weekend. The Clark County Coroner’s Office determined the rider as Donald Wayne Miller III, of Henderson. His cause and manner of death stayed pending Monday.

According to Las Vegas City cops, the crash happened at 7:18 p.m. after a sport-utility car chauffeur, who officers said was at fault, made a left turn in front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle T-boned the SUV.

The rider was ejected through the ideal front passenger window of the SUV, and the rider’s helmet struck the driver of the SUV, cops said. The rider was up to the ground and was noticable dead at the scene.

The SUV continued moving until it struck a parked car then a curb, cops stated.

The motorist of the SUV suffered crucial injuries, police said. He showed signs of disability and was scheduled for owning under the impact resulting in death.

The crash stays under examination.

was seriously injured in a crash Saturday afternoon. Authorities reacted to the call at 12:32 p.m. near U.S. 95 and Galleria Drive.

NHP said the motorcyclist was taking a trip eastbound on Galleria when he or she lost control of the bike at a turn and struck a pole.

The motorcyclist was required to a regional healthcare facility in vital condition, NHP stated.

Roadway restrictions remain in put on Galleria Drive towards U.S. 95. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes.

A motorcyclist who passed away after an east Las Vegas Valley crash involving a hit-and-run driver was identified Monday.

According to the Clark County Coroner’s Workplace, Victor Alejandro Gonzalez, 21, of Las Vegas, died of multiple candid force injuries as a result of an accident.

Gonzalez was the operator of a motorcycle that was struck by a Hummer H2 about 10 p.m. Saturday near Charleston Boulevard and Sacramento Drive, Las Vegas City authorities stated.

According to police, the Hummer was turning left from westbound Charleston onto Sacramento and hit the motorbike that was traveling eastbound. 2 individuals riding on the bike were thrown off.

The motorbike rider was pronounced dead on scene and the passenger was carried to University Medical Center in crucial condition.

The male driving the Hummer ran away the scene on foot while the passenger remained on scene. Cops described the motorist as a Hispanic male with short hair.

Motorcyclist critically hurt in North Las Vegas crash


NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) –

A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash in North Las Vegas Friday afternoon, authorities reported.

The crash occurred about 3 p.m. near the intersection of La Madra Method and Goldeneye Method, just north of West Lone Mountain Road. Authorities didn’t instantly report how the crash took place.

A motorcyclist was carried to the health center in crucial condition after an accident on Sunday afternoon.

Nevada Highway Patrol received a call for an accident involving a vehicle and a bike at 1:37 p.m. on Boulder Freeway, between Stone Station Hotel & & Casino and U.S. 95.

Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel with NHP said the motorcyclist was going northbound on Boulder when an automobile turned into the course of the bike.

The rider was transported to University Medical Center.

One person was killed in a crash at a central Las Vegas interchange Wednesday night.

The two-vehicle crash took place at 7:37 p.m. at the crossway of U.S. Highway 95 and Jones Boulevard.

According to Cannon fodder Chelsea Stuenkel, of Nevada Freeway Patrol, the crash occurred at the bottom of the northbound off-ramp and included a motorcycle and a minivan.

Stuenkel said the motorcyclist was required to a regional healthcare facility in critical condition. Cannon fodder Loy Hixson, likewise of Nevada Highway Patrol, said that the motorcyclist later passed away.

Stuenkel said individuals in the minivan suffered injuries that were not lethal.

Traffic was being diverted around the crash while detectives are at the scene, Stuenkel said.

Motorcyclist hospitalized after striking minivan

A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash in the central valley Wednesday night.

Nevada Freeway Patrol said an accident occurred on Jones Boulevard at the U.S. Highway 95 northbound offramp. The motorcyclist was riding north on Jones and struck a minivan exiting the freeway about 7:30 p.m.

. The rider was taken to University Medical Center with important injuries, and an owner of the minivan was sent to MountainView Healthcare facility with injuries that were not life-threatening, freeway patrol stated.

Traffic is being diverted from Jones onto Upland Boulvard, just south of the freeway, and cars leaving the highway at Jones are being diverted North, highway patrol stated.

Motorcyclist, pedestrian killed in crash at Eastern and Canosa

Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015|11:50 a.m.

. A motorcyclist struck a pedestrian early today at Eastern and Canosa opportunities, killing both, according to Metro Authorities.

Also according to police:

The 23-year-old Las Vegas motorcyclist, identified as David Ivan Ramey by the Clark County Coroner’s workplace, was riding a 2006 black Suzuki south on Eastern approaching Canosa at 12:32 a.m. and struck the pedestrian, who remained in his 40s as well as stayed in Las Vegas. Both were tossed to the roadway and suffered fatal injuries.

Ramey died from blunt-force injuries, according to the coroner’s workplace.

The pedestrian’s identity and cause of death are pending.

The fatalities are the 58th and 59th traffic-related deaths in Metro’s jurisdiction in 2015. The crash remains under examination.
