Las Vegas police arrest multiple suspects in west valley criminal activity spree


Las Vegas cops on Wednesday released the identities of 6 adults arrest in connection with a crime spree in the west valley.

The six were determined in a series of break-ins, house invasions, car jackings, thefts and kidnappings that stretched from Summerlin to the far northwest, Las Vegas Metropolitan Authorities Department Captain Sasha Larkin said.

They are linked to at least 14 events, according to a news release. In numerous of the events, police recognized Dilon Hess, 22, as a suspect. Of the 14 occasions, Larkin in-depth 3.

Including Hess, the others arrested were Alexis Haslinger, 19, Seth Meeks, 19, Lee Estrada, 33, Shyla Rosa, 20 and Cierra Cipriani, 22.

Man found outside apartment building with multiple gunshot injuries

Officers were dispatched to 1100 Morgan Avenue, near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Washington Opportunity at 8:39 p.m.

Lt. David Gordon said a man standing outside his apartment or condo heard what seemed an argument followed by 4 to 5 gunshots. He then discovered a male victim suffering from 2-3 gunshot wounds lying on the ground.

The male called 9-1-1 to report the incident, police said.

Emergency situation responders rushed the victim into surgery at a nearby health center, inning accordance with police.

Fire damages multiple companies at Henderson strip mall

A shopping center caught fire Wednesday night, harmful numerous companies, according to the Henderson Fire Department.

Passing motorists reported the fire about 11 p.m. at Sundown Mountain Vista Plaza, just north of where Sunset Road faces Mountain Vista Street.

The fire originated at the Q Spa, 6401 Mountain Vista Street, and infect surrounding companies prior to it was snuffed out, authorities said.

All of the businesses at the shopping mall were closed at the time, and there were no injuries to bystanders or firemans, officials stated.

The overall loss has actually not yet been identified, and the reason for the fire is under examination.
