With simply a year out from opening, Las Vegas’ IKEA shop will finally take on the familiar blue panels of its sister locations.
On Tuesday, the blue panels that surround the store’s outside is being placed on the building site on Durango Drive just north of the 215 Beltway.
The shop said steel framing in the construction advanced to the phase of installing the iconic paneling.
The Las Vegas area, which is slated to be Nevada’s very first IKEA store, is located on 26 acres. The store will certainly boast 351,000 square feet of shopping area.
