CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV)- Clarksville police officers detained a domestic attack suspect after he crashed into his better half’s automobile, attacked her and then barricaded himself in his residence on Saturday early morning.
Authorities stated the standoff started around 9:15 a.m. at a home on Sturdivant Drive.
Previously that early morning, a 34-year-old lady left her house in a Chevrolet Avalanche, fleeing a domestic situation.
Her other half, Palikna Tosie, apparently pursued her in a Chevrolet Camaro, ramming her off the roadway at the corner of Sturdivant Drive and Tobacco Roadway before attacking her on foot.
Cops state Tosie then drove back to their house and locked himself inside when cops reacted.
” We evacuated another adult female and 2 kids from the house before we attempted to coax the suspect out of his room,” Sergeant Patrick Seay stated. “The suspect refused to come out in the beginning, however soon gave up before tactical systems showed up.”
The lady saved from the residence was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was mindful and breathing at the time, however her current condition has actually not been released.
Tosie is charged with tried murder and worsened attack. He is being held at the Montgomery County Prison on a $275,000 bond.
