The Clark County Coroner’s Workplace has actually released the identities of the woman and young boy who were shot Friday in the southeast valley.
Las Vegas City cops said a Las Vegas male killed a neighbor and took her young son Friday morning prior to police got to his house and found both the man and the boy dead.
The shooting happened about 7 a.m. at a home on the 7200 block of Hardtack Circle, near Warm Springs Road and Tamarus Street.
Police say the guy went to the female’s home where he shot and killed her. The man then took her 8-year old kid to his house a few doors down. The female’s young daughter went to a next-door neighbor’s house and the 9-1-1 was called.
According to private investigators, officers reached the female’s home and and discovered her body in a doorway. The woman’s 2-year-old was discovered inside the home unharmed and was taken so security by authorities. Officers made their way to the man’s home and when they heard shots fired.
“One of the patrol officers heard a couple gunshots from that house,” Lt. Dan McGrath, of City, informed media on Friday. “At that point it was treated as a hostage situation.”
City thought the guy was holding a hostage and employed crisis mediators and the SWAT team.
Cops stated after a few hours officers entered into the man’s house where they found the bodies of both the guy and the 8 year-old kid who he had taken.
The Coroner determined the lady as Jennifer Bagley and her boy Lex Donoso, both from Las Vegas.
