LAS VEGAS( FOX5) -. Las Vegas City police SWAT officers responded to a domestic disturbance in a domestic area on Friday morning. The occurrence occurred around 10:27 a.m. at a home on Linn Lane in between Charleston Boulevard and Stewart Avenue in east Las Vegas.

Police stated a woman came out of your home requesting assistance before returning into the house. Officers arrived on scene and tried to make contact with the female, however nobody reacted.

The standoff ended Friday afternoon. Authorities took a guy into custody at 1:51 p.m., in addition to a female with visible injuries and another individual.

Nearby homes were evacuated during the incident.

Linn Lane was closed from Charleston Boulevard to Stewart Avenue.

No further information were instantly released.

Another casino fire: Teams respond to fire at Golden Nugget

– Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to a canopy fire at the Golden Nugget Friday at 8:42 p.m. The fire was out when firefighters showed up, and smoke was in a hallway of the employees’ entryway of the building.

The awning fire occurred in the delivery and employee entryway part of the structure on Bridger Opportunity, in between Casino Center Boulevard and First Street, away from visitors, according to the fire department.

LVFR said there were no injuries and no cause has actually been identified.

The only damage was to the awning. Firemens from North Las Vegas and Clark County likewise responded.

It was the 2nd Las Vegas gambling establishment fire in two nights after a roof fire at the Bellagio triggered as much as $450,000 worth of damage Thursday night.

Infant hospitalized after cops respond to reported drowning

A baby was hospitalized in unidentified condition after Las Vegas cops reacted to a reported drowning at a central valley home on Wednesday night.

Emergency situation crews responded about 7 p.m. to a house in the 1300 block of Corona Opportunity, near South Maryland Parkway and East Karen Avenue.

The baby was taken to Sunup Health center and Medical Center. City did not launch the infant’s exact age or condition Wednesday night.
