DJ Henrix is bringing the Heat from Miami to the desert heat of Las Vegas this weekend, as the Brazil-born and Miami-based DJ and producer is a die-hard Miami Heat fan.

Exactly what can fans anticipate at your set at Light in Mandalay Bay on Saturday, Aug. 8?
A lot of energy and a mixture of different categories of music!
Do you enjoy performing at dayclubs or clubs more– and why?
Hmmm, that’s a challenging one. They both have their pros and cons, however I think that I’ll most likely go with nightclubs. Lots of people in clubs go there to rage difficult and party hard.
Occasionally people at dayclubs go to hang out by the swimming pool and unwind with their good friends. But do not get me wrong. There are still hardcore partygoers in dayclubs, too!
How is it working with Kaskade?
It’s awesome! He’s a truly good man, and having the ability to launch on his label is incredible. He has a big following, so it offered the track some good interest, haha.
What is on your plate now in regards to work and jobs?
Ah, a lot! I have a few collabs turning up, one in specific that I’m extremely delighted about– that’s with Relaxed Luke. It has constantly been an imagine mine to deal with him.
I likewise have some secret tasks that I can’t actually discuss right now however actually love and cannot wait to release. And obviously the programs that are showing up.
Who are your inspirations in the EDM market?
I think my inspirations are more in the music industry as a whole, to be truthful. I do not want to be labeled just as an EDM manufacturer. Right now I’m making so many categories of music that to state my motivations are only EDM, I would be lying, haha.
I do wish to produce some records for big pop artists and possibly hit the radio more, but my main goal is to win a Grammy! That’s my dream!
How commonly do you get home to Brazil?
I go to see my household every year to a year and a half. It’s always good to get back and see them all.
Do you consider Miami as your home now? You’re photographed a lot wearing Miami Heat jerseys and Miami hats.
Ah, yeah, Miami has practically always been my home my whole life. I arrived in Miami when I was 5 years old, and I was raised right here. I enjoy this city, it will constantly be my house, and, yes, I’m always rockin’ my Heat things! I’m an obsessive Heat fan!;-RRB- Exactly what is something about Miami that is much better than Las Vegas?
I think Miami has the most beautiful people in the U.S. It’s so many various Latin cultures here. Likewise the beaches! Miami Beach is remarkable. Las Vegas does not have beaches– it’s all desert!
Exactly what is one thing about Las Vegas that is much better than Miami?
I believe Las Vegas has much better high-end clubs.
What is on your to do list when you’re in Las Vegas?
Capture the pool and dining at some of the fantastic dining establishments. I likewise enjoy walking the Strip even though I’ve done it a few times. There are some genuine characters on the Strip, and it’s fun to see.
