. A 22-year-old motorist was eliminated this morning when he crashed his vehicle into the back of a semitrailer in the southwest valley, according to City Authorities.
The crash occurred about 4:10 a.m. at Rainbow Boulevard and Robindale Roadway, authorities stated. The Las Vegas male, who was driving a 2012 Honda Civic, died at the scene, authorities stated.
The guy was speeding north on Rainbow when he crashed into the back of the truck, cops said. His name has not yet been released by Clark County Coroner’s Office.
The crash resulted in the 67th traffic death in City’s jurisdiction this year.

about 5 a.m. near U.S. 93 according to patrol. There were no other cars involved in the wreck, and the motorist of the truck was taken to University Medical Center with non lethal injuries, patrol stated. Southbound lanes were blocked for hours while tow trucks had a hard time to move the semi, forcing chauffeurs to
utilize the shoulder to pass and triggering miles of backups, patrol said. The roadway was expected to be resumed by 4:30 p.m. according to patrol.
A Las Vegas law enforcement agent was hurt Tuesday early morning after a police car and semitrailer clashed in a west Las Vegas Valley intersection.
The crash happened at 9:58 a.m. in the intersection of Cimarron and Spring Mountain roads, Officer Larry Hadfield stated. That’s by Desert Breeze Park.
The officer was required to University Medical Center with injuries that don’t appear to be lethal, Hadfield said.
No other injuries have actually been reported.
The crossway will be closed down while investigators investigate the crash.
