Police charge suspect in Maryland college stabbing death

Police reacted to an emergency situation call made by a woman at 5:51 a.m. from a McDonald’s restaurant near Flamingo Road and Decatur Boulevard, according to City Lt. Grant Rogers. The female informed 9-1-1 operators she was with 2 males who were stabbed.

A 19-year-old who had moved out of his father and mothers’ home returned to the residence early Monday early morning in the moments leading up to the stabbing death of his father, according to Las Vegas City police.

Boy, 19, held in stabbing death of handcuffed dad

The Clark County coroner on Tuesday identified the dead dad as 51-year-old David Dewayne Fritz.

Authorities say the child, Mason Fritz, ran away with a family automobile after the Monday morning attack.

He was found and arrested numerous hours later, walking on a stretch of Flamingo Roadway numerous miles east of the Las Vegas Strip.
