Authorities: Police officer kicked pregnant woman in stomach, forcing her to give birth

Miami Beach authorities spokesperson Ernesto Rodriguez said in an e-mail that Officer Ambar Pacheco of the North Miami Beach police was jailed Wednesday night.

An arrest affidavit says Pacheco and her 21-year-old sibling Mikaela Pacheco entered a fight with 27-year-old Evoni Murray and 40-year-old Joseph Predelus on a Miami Beach street corner.

Officer Pacheco told investigators that after Predelus kicked her sister in the face, she then “beat” Murray, who was eight months pregnant.

Rodriguez states Murray was taken to the health center and provided a child boy.

Predulus, the kid’s father and Murray’s boyfriend, informed WSVN their newborn is expected to be OKAY despite the run-in.

” When he was born, it put a smile on my face,” he stated.

It’s uncertain what started the battle.

North Miami Beach Maj. Richard Rand told the Miami Herald Pacheco is on paid leave pending an examination.

Pacheco was not in uniform at the time.

LAS VEGAS( FOX5) – An airplane arrived on its tummy at McCarran International Airport Friday afternoon, according an airport representative. The BE9 airplane had gear problems and landed between taxi lanes 5 and 6 at about 3:38 p.m, according to the spokesperson.

No injuries were reported and the airport said the variety of travelers was unidentified. Crews were working to move the airplane on the runway.

Cops: Guy shot in stomach Wednesday afternoon

. A man was shot in the stomach Wednesday night inside a central valley shop, inning accordance with City Cops.

The shooting occurred about 5 p.m. in a store at 3735 Spring Mountain Road, near Valley View Boulevard, cops said.

The male suspect shot the guy when in the stomach and got away the scene, police stated. The victim was taken to University Medical Center and was going through surgical treatment as of 7 p.m. according to authorities.
