Editor’s Note: As Robin Leach wraps his summer season travels in Italy to go back to the United States, numerous of our Strip personalities have actually stepped forward in his absence to pen their words of wisdom.

We continue today with Bobby Reynolds, among the Las Vegas home entertainment kingpins who books the stars to keep our showbiz city on top, and Bryan Kroten, vice president of marketing for Radical Aviation Group, who hosts thousands of travelers every year to the marvels of our desert kingdom and its concerning attractions. Right here’s Bryan:

Radical Helicopters just wrapped up its fifth year of air travels during the Electric Sissy Carnival Las Vegas. Our fans got to be amongst a range of top DJs, manufacturers, artists and more as 19 of our modern ECO-Star helicopters flew over the radiant Las Vegas Motor Speedway

This is the busiest weekend of the year for our group. It’s really all hands on deck– everybody from pilots to customer service representatives to our business’s president prepares for the exciting weekend.

Usually, I forget that it had not been constantly by doing this. A simple 6 years ago, EDC wasn’t even in Las Vegas or part of our company. Heck, I didn’t even understand who Tiesto was! The first year, we had four helicopters in our EDC fleet, and it has actually grown significantly.

Radical Aviation Group, parent business of Radical Helicopters, is always searching for ways to enhance the experience for its clients while growing business, and EDC, to name a few endeavors, has certainly led the way. The amount of possible and growth in this distinct city, Las Vegas, is unbelievable.

For instance, at Maverick, we don’t correspond our time at the business with years. Instead, we relate it with the amount of helicopters that remain in the fleet. When I began in 2006, we had 14 helicopters and now have 47.

It does not stop there. Given that Maverick’s inception, it has grown from 2 employees in 1996 to more than 400 in 2015 and one location in 1996 to five (Las Vegas Strip, Henderson Executive Airport, Grand Canyon West Rim, Grand Canyon South Rim and Maui).

We have logged more than 350,000 helicopter air travel hours and host more than 250,000 patrons per year. Additional flight choices have actually been contributed to satisfy demand. Those include Mustang Helicopters, in Henderson, and Maverick Airlines, where visitors book planes (not helicopters) to the Grand Canyon.

This development can be credited to changes in tourist in this city. While pc gaming is still a big market, the demand for experience-type opportunities, like EDC, is big. We want to think about our aerial experiences in the exact same way– as unique, bucket-list chances.

There is no better way to see the Strip, travel to EDC and NASCAR and take in the full beauty of the Grand Canyon than by sky. And our fans like to talk (or boast, rather) about their flights with Radical. Social network and websites like Trip Advisor have actually been a fantastic influence in this desire of boasting about experience-type taking a trip.

I check out that it’s not unusual for travelers to post on social media about their holidays within 10 minutes of arriving at their destination, so leveraging those channels and showing our fans exactly what they can experience with Maverick has actually helped grow our customer base and awareness.

In truth, we’ve seen a big development in our Instagram account @MaverickHelicopters in the previous year, as we reveal our clients that the very best views are from the sky. Another fantastic factor for our business has been the boost in global tourist. The Grand Canyon is a big draw for global tourists considering that we offer a fast 45-minute flight to among the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

With the addition of Terminal 3 at McCarran International Airport and the more direct global air travels, we have actually seen an increase in bookings. Our company has actually been growing at a fast rate.

Due to growth and market modifications throughout the years, we were able to open a new area in Maui in April and will be revealing a multimillion-dollar, remodelled Las Vegas Strip terminal by the end of 2015.

Next year will mark Radical Helicopters’ 20th anniversary. To reminisce on all the amazing updates our city and company have actually made is astonishing. With Hawaii opening, the success of EDC and the upcoming remodel, 2015 has certainly been the best year yet.

I’m eager to see where the future and changes in the travel industry will take it from right here. The sky’s the limitation.

Check out our other guest column today from AEG Live authority Bobby Reynolds. On Sunday, we turn the spotlight on kitchen area appeal expert Heather Marianna and her trip searching for appeal keys in Morocco and who has actually teamed with reality-TV star Farrah Abraham for a brand-new product line of natural cosmetics, and Mosaic member Josh Huslig, who discusses how those guys make all that sound without any musical instruments.

Airport officials in Las Vegas state 3.9 million people flew in and out of the location in June, a 5.8 percent increase compared to a year ago.

McCarran International Airport launched data Friday that show traffic is up 3.8 percent in the first half of the year.

Domestic and global flights were both up during the month compared with a year ago.

Of the 3.9 million visitors about 291,000 were taking a trip internationally.

Airport spokesperson Chris Jones says the month-to-month year-over-year boosts are tied to the airline companies adding more seats with larger aircrafts or added air travels to Las Vegas.

Jones says that while traffic is the best it’s been considering that the economic crisis, it’s not anticipated to beat the record 48 million travelers that traveled to and from Las Vegas in 2007.

New York City– Cabs are losing business travelers to ride-hailing services like Uber, a study shows.

In the three months ended in June, Uber overtook taxis as the most expensed type of ground transport, according to expense management system supplier Certify. Uber made up 55 percent of ground transportation receipts compared to taxis at 43 percent.

That’s a huge jump from simply the beginning of the year. In the first quarter, Uber Technologies had 46 percent of invoices tracked by Certify compared to 53 percent for taxis.

“Established travel companies will have to adapt rapidly or face further market share disintegration to the sharing economy,” Certify CEO Robert Neveu stated in a statement.

License based its finding on the 28 million journey receipts its North American clients submit each year. It does not include invoices from company travelers whose business use other services to track costs.

Uber connects travelers with various vehicles through its smartphone app. Some drivers work for car service companies; others invest a few hours driving their personal cars on the side for some extra money.

Company travelers may be quickly approaching Uber, but employers still have reservations about security and liability. Depending on the city, Uber drivers aren’t always controlled by government taxi licensing authorities. Both Uber and rival Lyft guarantee their motorists during paid trips and also need the motorists to bring individual auto insurance coverage that covers them the rest of the time.

In a few cities, Uber beat out taxis by a wide margin for company travelers. In its house town of San Francisco, 79 percent of trips expensed through Certify throughout the second quarter were for Uber. In Dallas, 60 percent were for Uber and 54 percent in Los Angeles. Accredit kept in mind that it saw rental car deals drop at the very same time.
