Video from the scene of the shooting death of a 17-year-old in Henderson appeared to show the suspects cleansing and damaging proof after the kid died, police stated.
Jaiden Caruso, 16, and Kody Harlan, 17, were detained and charged in connection with the shooting death of Matthew Minkler on Friday, Officer Scott Williams of Henderson Police said. Both boys were transferred to Clark County Detention Center and were charged as adults, he said.
Caruso faced one charge of murder with a lethal weapon and Harlan faced charges of device to murder after the truth and damaging proof.
Minkler died of a gunshot injury to the head, inning accordance with the coroner, and was found in a deserted home.

Authorities said neither Caruso nor Harlan called 911 or tried to render aid to Minkler.
Minkler’s body was found by cops in a downstairs closet. The suspect also informed cops among the suspects took Minkler’s wallet after he was shot and used $300 from it to purchase shoes and drugs later on that day.
