Vegas woman under arrest in fatal crash including taken truck, team vehicle

border=” 0″ width=” 180 “/ > Oriana Leausu mugshot (courtesy: LVMPD). LAS VEGAS( FOX5)-. Cops stated they are investigating a deadly crash including a taken car in west Las Vegas Wednesday, with one person dealing with a felony charge for owning under the influence.

The crash took place on Fort Apache Roadway in between Charleston Boulevard and Sahara Avenue at 4:46 p.m.

Authorities validated there were two related crash scenes in the area, one of which included a City squad automobile.

City said a female was driving a stolen 2004 Dodge Ram truck that was followed by air patrol. The truck struck a squad car, and later 2 other vehicles. A motorist of one of those automobiles died in the crash. The motorist of the other vehicle, the chauffeur of the taken truck and the officer also suffered injuries, according to police.

Leusa was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for DUI including death according to cops. Leusa’s mom said she learnt about the crash online and feared for her child’s life prior to getting extra information.

Authorities said the crash stays under examination.

Inning accordance with the Regional Transport Commission, Fort Apache was closed between Charleston Boulevard and Sahara Opportunity.
