PIQUA, OH (FOX19) -.
An Ohio State Cannon fodder is credited with conserving a driver’s life and the powerful scene was caught on dash camera video.
“Don’t you pass away on me!” Trooper Eric Devers shouts to a motorist whose semi-truck crashed into an embankment near Piqua, Ohio.
“Trooper Devers found the motorist belted in the motorist’s seat, taking low, gasping breaths with eyelids half closed,” mentioned a Facebook post from OSP. “After a short amount of time, the driver’s eyes rolled back into his head; he slumped over and give up breathing.”
In the video, Devers can be heard carrying out CPR on the victim. A passerby stopped to help as Devers kept the motorist upright and completed chest compressions.
Medics arrived 12 minutes after Devers and the motorist ultimately ended up being stabilized. He has since made a full recuperation, OSP reports.
“In talking with the household, medical workers and witnesses at the scene, it is apparent the fast actions of Cannon fodder Devers helped save the driver’s life,” OSP’s Facebook post checks out.
