West Las Vegas deaths examined as murder-suicide


LAS VEGAS (FOX5) –

Authorities said they are examining the deaths of a man and woman, whose bodies were found in a west Las Vegas house Wednesday, as a murder-suicide.

The bodies were found at 1:23 p.m. at a residence in the 6200 block of Elton Opportunity, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 95 and Jones Boulevard.

Las Vegas City police detectives said it appears the woman, determined by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as 61-year-old Paula Russell, shot her hubby and afterwards herself.

One neighbor told FOX5’s Rachel Moore that the couple had actually lived next door for about 12 years, and belonged to the community’s neighborhood watch program. She described them as caring and caring, however keeping to themselves.

The hubby identity will be released after the proper member of the family have actually been alerted.
