police discovered in her bag. WPLG reported Kennecia Posey was among two guests in a vehicle come by Fort Pierce police in late March. Police say an officer smelled marijuana and that, after browsing the vehicle, drug and cannabis in different bags were found inside a handbag Posey had on her lap.
Authorities say they questioned Posey about the drugs. According to the authorities report, Posey reacted: “I don’t know anything about any drug. It’s a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my handbag.”
Posey was charged with a felony count of drug possession and a misdemeanor count of cannabis ownership. She was later on released on bond.
It wasn’t immediately understood if she has an attorney.
