Financial services corporation Capital One has signed a new 10-year lease expansion for 90,000 square feet in the office complex at 800 Delaware Ave. in Wilmington, DE and restored its current 240,000-square-foot area at the nearby 802 Delaware Ave. through 2027.
The business, which just recently acquired Wilmington, DE-based financial services companies HSBC and INGDirect, will combine offices from a number of area buildings as its new area is renovated and built out. By Danielle Sigamoni

Washington Gas Transferring Headquarters to $2 Billion Wharf Waterfront Development in SW D.C.
Washington Gas Light Co. has agreed to a 16-year lease that will see the general public energy holding company and WGL Holdings subsidiary transfer its home office to 70,063 square feet at the $2 billion The Wharf advancement on Southwest Washington, D.C.’s waterfront.
For nearly 15 years, Washington Gas has actually been locateded in 158,000 square feet at 101 Constitution Ave. NW. With the brand-new lease, the business will move its head offices to the whole sixth and seventh floors and a part of the eighth flooring of 1000 Maine Ave. SW, a 267,560-square-foot, 11-story trophy office complex set up to deliver in the middle of next year. TimePayment Expands Burlington Headquarters
TimePayment, an equipment lease financing services provider and subsidiary of MicroFinancial Inc., completed an offer to restore and expand its headquarters lease at 1600 District Ave. in Burlington, MA to 45,000 square feet. This is a 70% increase in square footage from the company’s current occupancy.
The three-story, 60,844 square-foot, Class An office building was built in 1978 off I-95 between the Lahey Hospital & & Medical Center and the Burlington Mall in suburban Boston’s Burlington/Woburn submarket. The building lies in The District Burlington, a development that functions 1.1 million square feet of work area and 30,000 square feet of retail area.

Glossier, a beauty products business, signed an 11-year workplace lease for 26,079 square feet in the One SoHo Square East building at 161 Avenue of the Americas in New york city City.
The 16-story building totals 360,000 square feet and was constructed 1903 before starting extensive remodellings at the end of 2016 along with the nearby 233 Spring St. (aka One Soho Square West) in the Hudson Square submarket.
