. An 8-year-old kid on a bike suffered damaged bones when he was hit by an automobile in a Henderson community Friday afternoon, inning accordance with city cops. He’s expected to recover.
Officers and medics were dispatched about 2:15 p.m. to Silver Springs Parkway and Tomahawk Drive, near Gibson Elementary School, spokesman Officer Scott Williams said.
A preliminary examination identified that the young boy was riding his bike through a crosswalk when he was struck by a little vehicle, Williams stated.
The young boy was hurried to University Medical Center with injuries not deemed lethal, Williams stated. Investigators at first thought he ‘d suffered a serious head injury.
The chauffeur, who wasn’t impaired or speeding, was cooperating with cops.
